Phillip Irl Ramage

Phillip Irl Ramage, 70, died June 20, 2016 at Hutchinson, born August 21, 1945 at Lyons to Irl F. and Edith R. Spoon Ramage. He was a lifetime Little River resident. He was a Farmer Rancher-Stockman.  He Graduated from Little River High School, class of 1963, attended College of Emporia and Kansas State and was a veteran of the Air National Guard serving 1965 to 1971.  His memberships were Congregational Church, he served as Deacon & Trustee, Men’s Fellowship; Dwight Lamson American Legion Post 258, KLA of Rice County Board of Directors; former, Boot Strap Board, Little Arkansas Watershed Board, U.S.D 444 School Board; Pleasant View 4-H Leader and Lions Club.

He married Jolene Ehly on May 1, 1966 at Little River. He is survived by his Wife  Jolene of the home; Son, Rusty & Candee Ramage, Little River; 2 Daughters, Tammy & Tom Kizzar, Chase, Nicky & Da’Von Brame, Derby; 6 Grandchildren; Brother, Bruce & Jackie Ramage, Little River; Sister, Donna & Larry Priddle, Wilmington, N. C.; Preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 24, 2016 at Congregational Church, Little River with Pastor Ted Weis officiating.  Visitation will be 2:00 to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, June 23, 2016 with family present from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons. Burial in Bean Memorial Cemetery. Memorials to the Congregational Church in care of the funeral home.
