Casey Rene Bolton

Casey Rene Bolton, 28, of Topeka, passed away November 11, 2017.  She was born September 8, 1989 in Newton, KS, the daughter of Rob Bolton and Beverly Hunter.  She has resided in Topeka, KS since 2010, formerly of Lyons.   Casey graduated from Lyons High School, with the class of 2008.   She was a dog trainer and artist.  She served as a medic in the United States Army from (2007) to (2010).  Casey volunteered her time at Helping Hand’s Humane Society in Topeka.  She is survived by her parents, Rob and Heidi Bolton of Alden and Beverly Hunter of Kansas; three sisters, Robyn and Dominic Salazar of Topeka, KS, Laura and Tyler Vitanova of Wichita, KS, and Emma Bolton of Alden, KS; brother, Eric and Ash Hostetler of Lawrence, KS; grandmother, Norma Hunter of (California); grandfather, Ralph Vohs of Lyons; grandparents, Bill and Carolyn Williams of (Alton, KS); two aunts, Bonnie Bolton of Lyons, and Allison and Cheyne Bolton of Halifax, Nova Scotia; cousin, Michael Runyan of Florida; and niece, Lily Salazar of Topeka, KS.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert C. Bolton and Mary Evelyn Bolton-Vohs and grandfather, Virgil Hunter.  Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Lyons, with military honors by the Ft. Riley Honor Guard.  The family is requesting everyone to wear pink for the celebration.   Memorials can be made to the Helping Hand’s Humane Society, Topeka in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
