EDUCATION: graduated Little River High School in class of 1952; undergraduate degree in business administration from Washburn University, Topeka. His education was interrupted
when he received orders to enter the military service. He returned to Washburn University
School of Law and graduated in 1963. Adrian initially entered general private practice. His
law career also included serving as Burlingame City Attorney and Osage County Attorney.
He was appointed as an assistant United States Attorney, Chief of the Criminal Division of the Topeka office for three and a half years. He practiced law until 2003. He enjoyed living his retirement years with his wife on the family farm and visiting his children and grandchildren.
VETERAN: U. S. Air Force serving from August 1957 to June 1960; he completed his reserve
commitment in 1970 as Captain. His love of flying led him to get his private pilot’s license in
the early 1980’s
